  2. Just Soaps

    Posted on

What a shame it is that our lovely soap supplier Stephanie, creator of Grass Routes Soaps has hung up her soap making kit for a while (dreaded Brexit price increases). But good news is that we have found the equally wonderful Just Soaps. Their values look like our values: "We use only 100% natural ingredients. None of our products or ingredients are tested on animals and they are free from additives which have been reported to be harmful to our bodies or the environment, such as Parabens, SLS, Propylene Glycol or petrochemicals to name just a few. In fact we do not add anything except pure essential oils and use only natural colourants. Where available we use local ingredients including, Spring Water, Beeswax, Goat's Milk, Honey, Oats, Lavender and Herbs".

And they have a big range too... we chose a few that are well suited to babies and mummies: Roman Spa (Rebecca was a classicist long ago), Lavender Blue (we love lavender), Tea Tree & Hemp Oil, Lemongrass & Lime and 2 unscented for extra sensitive skin, baby or mother. Have a look here and at their website too. We bought up all Stephanie's remaining stock but it is the end now so all our gift boxes will have the Just Soap selection instead.

  3. Peacock Party

    Posted on

Hands up who knew baby peacocks are called peachicks? This seriously cosy Sherpa blanket from Little Green Radicals is perfect for wrapping up your little ones as these chilly autumn days set in. We are loving its vibrant peacock print on one side and the softest of fleeces on the other, it's doubly lovely! It is made from two layers of quality 100% organic Fairtrade cotton, so it’s really kind on your baby’s skin. Because we’re so excited about these gorgeous blankets, we’re throwing a peacock party (word on the street is that’s what a group of these birds is called) and offering a FREE surprise gift with each purchase before Monday 6th November!

  4. We're going green and radical

    Posted on

Exciting news at Really Eco Baby towers (so called as we have lived on a road called Tower Close for the past 6 and a half years). We are gathering up our eco, green and organic wares and moving to our dream home - an organic fruit farm on the Essex, Suffolk border. Formally known as The Apricot Centre, it was designed by permaculture guru Marina O'Connell, and we are taking on the baton and have decided to call it Peach and Pippin, not least because of our own three fast-growing pippins and because of the incredible peach trees in the greenhouse. We have a website up and running. Please pop over and have a look: peachandpippin.com.

Therefore, please forgive us while we take a week off to pack and order exciting things like apple presses and tripod ladders..... Any orders placed between now and Friday August 4th will be dispatched on August 5th.

Here is a picture of the peach trees in the greenhouse:
